We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanks Giving. The Coates family certainly has much to thank the Lord for, and we do thank Him every day!

Right after Thanksgiving, we dive headlong into Vacation Bible School season, helping other churches throughout the region, and preparing for one of our own. We have Escuela Biblica de Vacaciones this time of year instead of the summertime because now is when the children have their big break from school.

This week we are assisting our friends the Jones with their group southeast of us, closer to the base of our local volcano.
Signing up children for the bus route.

Time for songs and "breaking the ice", in which we identify the hams among the children. :o)

Daniel is doing the activity time, and Tammy's helping with the music.

Daniel organizing a game of kickball.

(He really gets into this...)

It's such a fun opportunity to minister to these kids, and our own children get to be among them. In two weeks when we have a VBS at the church in La Esperanza, our children will be our most valuable helpers. :o)
