Teaching at the Seminary
We attended the opening day of the Seminary last week. Daniel is teaching two classes this year: Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes/Song of Solomon. Our family was privileged to sing two songs to encourage the students and teachers present, and there was some great preaching about laying aside every weight as we run the race of the Christian life.
On our way home, we stopped at Central Park in Xela to take some photos, since everyone was dressed up and relatively clean!

We sure draw a lot of attention when we are all out together, partly because of our little blonde children, and partly because there are six of them. I saw one lady take some photos of us with her cell phone camera, Ha!
An interesting thing happened while we were at the park. As we were taking some individual shots of the children, who should walk up but Floridalma, one of the young ladies who has been visiting the church in La Esperanza. She had with her the two children of the family she works for, so we took some pictures of them all, and had a good time of fellowship with her. It was an opportunity to build a friendship with her -- our meeting in the park was certainly not coincidence.
